Ecommerce News: The Best Way Leading to Success of Selling Online

Today, it is very easy for you to hear the key word: Online sales, online shopping, online purchase. But I have a question, that is if you really understand yet or still waste all time and money to invest in traditional sales. Traditional sales is somehow good but selling online is something you should know if you want to success

If you are still doing in a traditional way, please stop a moment and read this article to innovate your mind. You will not waste 5 minutes but change your thoughts about the way how to earn money. I will guide you how to sell online effectively and which is the best way to approach to your customer once they see your website and if they have needs, they will make purchasing behavior on your website instead of choosing other online stores. Here are my tips for you:

  1. Attract the attention of the customers

If there are many shops are selling the same product like your page, you should be good at those things below to attract the attention of customer to your products  rather than any other online stores:

a. Name product obviously and please not name in code like this: Product number 1, product number 2… The customer will be easily bored because they do not know any information about the product.  Therefore, they will rate the way you sell not professional and they will not click the purchasing button or immediately close your page.

b. The content of product description should be written carefully because this is one of the important factors directly influence customer’s purchasing behavior. You should describe the product clearly with full information on materials, uses, origin, weight … of products but not so long that make customer lazy to read. Additionally, you must not write it too trite and hollow, because those such descriptions may be already used by your opponents. Please create a different and interesting in writing style which makes customers trust you instead of buying only one product and says ‘’goodbye’’. Tell customers why they should buy from you? What benefits will they gain if they are your customer? The sale offers must be concise and could create the desire of owning that product from your customer’s side. You should not copy them from other pages because besides the direct customer on Facebook, forum… the number of customers that use search engines such as Google is also very large. And you should notice that: these tools appreciate those websites regularly updated new contents ( no other copies on the internet), which make your key words up on the top in a simple and natural way. You will gain plenty of clients from this way.

c. Besides the name and content, the product image is an important factor determining the success of the sale. Product image has to be clear and detailed. The Images should be in the clear-white background, It makes the viewers concentrate on your products. This is also the way that other famous e-commerce sites like alibaba, Amazon… or eBay do. The potential online buyer cannot directly see the product but if what he or she sees is well eye-catching then this will greatly influence whether a purchase will be made for.

  1. Optimizing the product price

You should check the competitor’s price and then analyze and optimize your price reasonably to dispel the doubts of customer about your product. Be ingeniously entice customers with a reasonable price, but it must be also not too cheap compared with your opponents because it makes them doubt on the quality of your product. Doing exactly like this way, the customer will not hesitate to click on purchasing button immediately.

  1. Put yourself in your customer’s shoes

Only if you put yourself in customer’s shoes, you will know what customers need by which helping them better. Add the trust mark on your website ( Such as: Registered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, ISO9001… or any other signs of trust). You must leave your phone number in and contact information in your  page and time frame you can work with your customers.

  1. Link Exchange

Every day, you use 30 minutes to 1 hour to advertise your website on other pages or forums. Of course these pages or forums should be in the same content with your website. This will make more and more customers know about your website or your product faster and even if the content on the links you share useful for customers, they will gradually form the trust in your brand. This will help your brand grow faster.

  1. Care for old customers

With normal habits, consumers will often purchase in the branchs they already know and trust. Therefore, you sometimes skip these customers and only focus on finding new clients. But that is a pretty big mistake of yours. Please remember: approaching a new customer is several times more difficulty rather than caring, keeping in touch with old customers. Keeping contact with customers by establishing a list of old customers to send them the emails of benefits they obtain when purchase at your website or advices about products or even the information of discount event of your online store. I make sure the customer will remember your name when they get dozens of emails everyday.

  1. Respond to customer reviews

It is also a mistake you should avoid when trading online, note every detail, every customer’s reaction to your page or your products because it is very valuable information. The viewers will help you to evaluate your website working well or not and then you must fix immediately the problems your website has. Besides, you must say thanks to whom made these comments because they really concern to your website or your business.

  1. Free/Cheap website hosting, should or not?

The answer is no. For an online business, website is like a store of ours. If the store is decorated carefully, it will attract customers passing through, seen and want to purchase. The same to online business, your website should be designed in a professional way to get the trust and belief from customer because  the first impressions are very important for the online selling. It would be very wrong if you think you can choose whatever hosting for your website and then you decide to choose a free or cheep website hosting to save your money. You should remember one thing that be cheap is equivalent with  low quality. The low- quality hosting ( free or cheap hosting) will lead to many bad  effects such as taking so much time of your customers for website loading. Customer will be bothered by the little things like this. So be careful!. Currently, to own a hosting package and domain name which are in good quality is not difficult and the cost is also not too high, so you should not save money for this problem.

  1. Patience.

You can not succeed within two or three days. To succeed, you need to be patient and make your brand gradually grow. You should not keep doing within only 1 or 2 weeks and when you feel it not efficient you are already to quit this job. By this way, you are killing yourself on the path of online business. If you think doing  online business is only waiting time and money and you just need to do the business in the traditional way, you already make a big mistake and other  rivals will pass over you in some day not far in future.
